Barbara Cameron-Smith’s career spans more than 50 years, and encompasses the project management, development and production of visitor centre exhibitions and displays, audiovisuals, various publications, outdoor interpretive signage and strategic plans.
Central to the natural and cultural heritage projects she has delivered has been content and image research, text writing, editing, copyright procedures, document production and illustration.
In the second half of her career Barbara broadened her scope to include corporate and technical writing and as a document specialist is well versed in the start to finish preparation of documents for publication including a flora and fauna field guide to the Australian Alps and a series of pictorial annual reports. More recently she researched and developed a fully illustrated book Hans Heysen Was Here exploring his painting expeditions to the Flinders Ranges.
